Well, we went to St. George Island for what was supposed to be a week long vacation on Sat. Aug. 9th... we had bad weather on Tuesday and even worse weather on Wednesday! See the pictures. There is 1 of Chris' boat on the boat lift. That was taken on the BAY - look at the waves/white caps (it was so hazy!) Well, there was a tornado/water spout that touched down in the bay between St. George & Eastpoint, knocking out 4 power polls to the island (their only source of power) and the entire island lost power. As of today they are STILL fixing the poles!! We left on Wednesday night because there was NO WAY we could keep Elizabeth, Kiersten and Brenna there w/o power. Thankfully we're all ok and after getting a generator from a friend, Chris was able to get the boat down & bring it onto land safely...

Oh girl...I'm sorry your vaca. didn't work out. I couldn't imagine trying to keep an infant and two big girls from getting bored and well kept with no power. *hugs*
